June 23, 20232 yr Hello Gang! In my infinite quest to try and find a more realistic way to taxi the big airliners, I found a control setting called "set nose steering". It appears to be an axis however, the slider does not move when you move the controller such as twisting your joystick. Does anyone know if this works at all in MSFS and/or how I could assign the twist function of my stick to use as a tiller? Thanks Sincerely, Dennis D. June 23, 20232 yr There's a specific steering axis. Search for steer among ALL commands and you'll find it. But the axis does nothing to steer the nose. The only aircraft where it works is the FBWA320 and the PMDG737. Does not work with any of Asobo's heavies. Something's not right. Sincerely, Dennis D. June 24, 20232 yr Ok, here you go Dennis: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KOip_ynEb-VZkA34J45thQGraRgEqXWw/view?usp=sharing This is how I have it set for my T16000 "Z" axis, and it works beautifully in the default 320 NEO, CJ4 and Citation Longitude, A310, ATR42/72... Make sure no other "Steering-related" settings are used, and that there is no conflict with other controllers for that axis. It was solved I believe before AAU1, or by that time. Previously it was a nightmare to steer, but it works beautifully since then, and actually both PMDG and the Fenix now use it too without tricks having to be applied. I have done this but when I twist my T16000, the bar does not slide either left or right. Does yours slide? Maybe is not supposed to and I am expecting it to, and that's where I'm getting hung???? In my setup it doesn't, but the twist function works on aircraft such as PMDG 737 and FBW A320. Weird. Sincerely, Dennis D. Müllert System Specs: MoBo: MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi ATX AM5. For some reason in my system, the slider does not show motion in control options, even though it recognizes the input, but it actually works when you go try it out. Weird. Thanks for the assistance.
