July 1, 20232 yr Is it possible to revert to an earlier streamdeck plugin version? I updated from plugin com.lorbysi.aao.streamdeckplugin_20_02 to com.lorbysi.aao.streamdeckplugin_23_02 on StreamDeck version 6.3.0.18948 and AAO version 3.30 b43. All of the Multiguages, Slidergages, Textguages and knobs immediately went blank with the new plugin version. The code is still there but only a blank light gray button now displays. All was working perfectly prior to changing plugin versions. I'm using the Guenseli H145 StreamDeck XL and PLUS version 1.5 Profiles from Flightsim.to. The broken buttons are also occurring with other profiles using the aforementioned gauges.

The new version uses a different default port to communicate with AAO, and that is preset in the new Plugin too. When you already had a previous version running you have to adjust the port to the value that you were using. Shut down the Elgato software (right click the icon in the system tray, the shut down option is at the end of the context menu). Just closing the StreamDeck Window is not enough. Then, in AAO, go to "Tools-> Configure WebAPI Port". Make sure that the StreamDeck plugin is selected and press "Set primary Port" and "Apply". Restart AAO and the StreamDeck software. July 1, 20232 yr Author Thank you for the specific instructions. I'm searching for a file or document addendum titled Release Notes. Rereading the documentation for the web API port, I still didn't realize it had to be reconfigured each time the plugin was upgraded. I'm referencing pages 2-3 in document "Lorby 'Axis And Ohs' StreamDeck Plugin Documentation Version 22.01 - 15.05.2023". That's an important concept I didn't garner from the instructions.

Should be in the AxisAndOhs 3.2 download / among the files in the shop where you bought the app. It is called "release_note_v3.20.txt". The port is effectively hard coded in the StreamDeck plugin, it can't "react" to changes that you or AAO make. You were just lucky that the old default port of 9080 worked, otherwise you would have known already. Many people had trouble with the old default, because of conflicts with other apps that were also using it. That is why it had to change. Edited July 1, 20232 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

Press the "Default" button on the same dialog. Then you don't have to change it again. In case of WebAPI troubles, the "WebAPI troubleshooting guide" PDF applies. It is at the top of the downloads page, becaus practically all assets there depend on the WebAPI. LORBY-SI
