July 4, 20232 yr It seems that the average frametime for both is about 16 ms. It means that in that particular condition, the two components can deliver the same framerate and neither one is bottlenecking the other. Considering that you are on the ground at a large airport, once airborne the framerate will increase and you will be GPU limited (desired condition). At 4K resolution you will benefit from a GPU upgrade for sure. Look at the RTX 4080 if budget allows or at the 4070 Ti: with their frame generation technology they do wonders in MSFS.
