FS2Crew RAAS Pro Climb VSpd Threshold

Recommended Posts

It is in the "extended hold & misc settings" of the profile information, but what is it? What does it do? And what number should I set for it?

Hi,

This field is used by RAASPRO for detect when the airplane is "climbing" and/or "descending". And this would depend on the type of airplane. Usually Jet airplane may climb at a normal rate of 200 feet/minute. But this would depend if it's a heavy airplane and/or a small private jet. In that field you can set a positive value (without ANY sign +/-), for example a value of: 200. If you think the normal climb rate is 200 feet/min. It's 1500 feet/min, then enter a value: 1500.

Cheers,

Manuel
