Can it be arranged to allow more time to edit a post before the 'Edited by Blah Blah' sticker is put on. For instance, I type %% and posted. Doh! I meant 55. I pressed Edit IMMEDIATELY.

10 seconds would do it.

Don't know if the forum software can handle that, Ron!  I think the time allowed to edit is programmable, But once the "Submit Reply is executed, the software knows you are editing.  If it is something you are editing, can you just ignore the edited by blah, blah and continue on?  As a Moderator, I know that works for me, but not sure of regular members.

As a test I just hit the edit key to type this and will ignore "reason for edit" and no check mark for "show this message has been edited.

I guess members don't have any options when editing.  It will always show.

I can assume you don't see this at the bottom when editing a post.

I just did a post over at Flightsim.com.  They use a similar forum software as here.  I edited my post and clicked on nothing to say my post was edited and it worked like you want.
