July 31, 20232 yr sometimes I got a incorrect vertical profile, like that: the destination Airport has an elevation of 2929ft, but it does not show it in the diagram. Whats the problem here?
July 31, 20232 yr Hi Burkhard, do you see any red error messages in the flight plan table footer? What does the tooltip of these error messages say? Like this: Edit: BTW: Right click into the profile and select "Delete aircraft trail" to get rid of the zig-zag lines from previous flights. August 11, 20232 yr Author Yes, you were right, there were some error messages. The message said, my cruising altitude is to low for a chosen waypoint. But in vfr flying, those ifr altitudes does not matter. Would it perhaps be possible, that LNP just ignore that waypoint altitudes, when my flightplan is in VFR mode? I only like to see, if my cruising altitude and descent path fits to the terrain.
August 11, 20232 yr Well, frankly, a VFR flightplan does never combine with procedures. I'd rather remove the procedures and airways if flying VFR and the altitudes do not match. That's why MSFS erases the plan if you load one of type VFR having procedures and airways. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
August 23, 20232 yr Author But: In the real world we sometimes use IFR waypoints for vfr flightplans! In case of vfr flying, the associated altitudes does not matter. Of course, we do not fly complete procedures, but we use single waypoints.
August 23, 20232 yr You can add the procedure waypoints manually to the flight plan. But I plan to add a function which replaces a procedure with normal waypoints which then allows to edit them. Maybe even in 2.8.13 already. Have to see. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
