Thank you. Got it. Give me a day or two to look at it.

No problem, I really appreciate that you are willing to look into it.

Sorry, took a while.

You seem to have a Steam installation as LNM finds the "UserCfg.opt" in the appropriate path.
The path in the last line of the file UserCfg.opt points to "G:\MSFS Update Files" but LNM cannot find any MSFS in there.

Checking MSFS path from "C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt"
Found MSFS base path "G:\MSFS Update Files"

"G:\MSFS Update Files\Official\Steam\fs-base\layout.json" does not exist

Is "G:\MSFS Update Files" the correct location and does it contain the Community and "Official\Steam" folders?

You are correct, the files are not there.  I don't know what the heck happened but I found out almost my entire MSFS installation just poof, disappeared off my SSD drive.  The main folder was still there, I opened it and found there was only just a small handful of files and folders that survived whatever the heck happened, but the all the rest of the files are gone.  This is crazy, I don't understand how can an entire game (simulator) just up and disappear off my drive.

God I hate MSFS and all of the BS that comes with it.  I'm reinstalling MSFS from scratch right now so I'll probably be able to play it in another 4 or 5 hours while I wait for the install, then have to do all of the updates in the content manager, install my add-ons, blah, blah, blah...  Just another reason why I prefer P3D and X-Plane over the half baked simcade that is MSFS.

Ok I'm done ranting now.  Thank you @albar965 for taking the time to look into it, I really appreciate that.  Please keep up your wonderful work on LNM, this app is so vital for me.  I tell everyone I can about it.  Now that I've finally updated after using a version that's about a year old now, I'm loving all the new changes and features.

You have the right to rant.🙂 This sounds like a real nightmare.
I keep reading that people lose joystick settings and whatnot when MSFS updates itself. So, I'm not wondering about this.

Alex

I'm not the only one that this has happened to either.  I've seen others on the MSFS Steam forum (I own it through Steam) saying they go to run MSFS to find out that it's disappeared off there drives and have to reinstall everything.  Took me about 7-8 hours total to completely install and set up everything again, it is a nightmare.  What really irks me is that when I reinstalled, it only used one third of my normal download speed max and often much less than that, they must be throttling it or something.

Thanks again Alex for your time and for all the work you do, take care.
