August 6, 20232 yr I have so many devices for MSFS: 3 Logitech panels, 2 other panels, 2 StreamDecks, stick, throttle, pedals, and a CH Quad. So, sometimes not everything used to power up with a system reboot. Hit or miss. Every device set in Windows Control Panel to not allow being turned off. That did not cure the issue. This powered and switched hub solved the issue. Power supplied from AC mains helps to solve such issues. But more importantly, the switches allow reconnecting much easier than unplugging/replugging each USB plug. This Hub has 13 ports, 2 port switches, and is AC powered. Each switch controls 6 or 7 ports. If something doesn't power up (StreamDeck not lighting up), I just tap the two switches. This has always cured the issue. They make Hubs with a dozen or so ports and a switch for each port. But with this one, I can switch 6 or 7 with one switch which is faster. All models of powered and switched Hubs will probably help these issues. August 7, 20232 yr I have noticed cheap multi USB hubs available on ebay, with each port having its own switch. I got one and use it for 2 FIPs and the AP /multi panel, so as I can turn them on after the sailtek/logitech drivers have activated. It also took the strain off other powered hubs that I use. I recommend getting at least one. As per above, I have found the only way to get these units working correctly is to power them up after the drivers have activated. I got a vague idea it may actually say that in the instructions ( but who reads them).
