August 7, 20232 yr Hi I have made a model of a Heli dam for filing the monsoon bucket. I have added the model and it appears. When hovering over water I can get the refill tank do its thing but when I hover over the heli dam I don't get the same response . I have adjusted the refill station values 12ft and time set for 3 seconds but its not filling like I do when I hover over a body of water . I have added the brake entry as per manual Regards Rhys
August 7, 20232 yr Commercial Member What is the refill configuration for this aircraft? There is a separate dialog for that. A refill station on land is not the same as scooping on a body of water, those are separate processes that work differently. The one on land expects you to park next to it, but setting the parameters just right it can be used to refill buckets by hovering over it. Off the top of my head I would say that all optional things on the refill configuration dialog must be turned off for this to work. LORBY-SI
August 7, 20232 yr Author Hi Thanks for the reply. Quote just right it can be used to refill buckets by hovering over it. Off the top of my head I would say that all optional things on the refill configuration dialog must be turned off for this to work. How do I turn off the configuration dialog. The only option I see is adjusting the distance and time which I set to 1 on both but no luck Regards Rhys
August 8, 20232 yr Commercial Member How exactly did you create the refill station? Following the procedure in the manual (page 40 in the English version - assuming that you have the latest version of the app)? The refill configuration is an attribute of the aircraft, not the refill station (page 41) The being said - the refill stations in FFX were not meant to be used this way. I know that there are (or rather were) customers who managed to tweak the parameters just so that it was possible to hover over the refill spot. But there is no special logic or configuration in FFX for this, and I can only guess how they did it. Edited August 8, 20232 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 9, 20232 yr Author Thanks for that What entry would need to be added to the aircraft cfg file Regards Rhys

The refill configuration is stored in FFX itself, check the FFX manual. There is a button for that on the main dialog. Edited August 9, 20232 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 10, 20232 yr Author Thank you for your assistance on this. I tried one of the default objects, fire truck but no luck. Set the parameters in the refill section but nothing worked. I added park brake to the aircraft cfg file and when I pressed the brake command the brakes icon is not showing up maybe that has something to do with it Kind regards Rhys
