Quality wings 78 Low resolution panels

Featured Replies

Im sure many others have encountered the same problem. When using the quality wings 787 the digital panels are very blurry and somewhat unreadable past a certain distance. Im aware there are videos out there that help fix this but none of them seem to have worked for me as I think they may be outdated because most came out 4-5 years ago.

I checked the QW dispatcher application as it says I can enable the hires panels by simply ticking the box next to it, this has not changed anything for me. Is there any way to make the panels a higher resolution?

I recently uninstalled P3D but plan to do a full reinstall soon, so this will be from memory, but here goes.

I believe you add panel=hires in the aircraft.cfg for the 787-8, which in turn updates the -8, -9 and -10.

If I'm wrong I apologise, like I said I currently don't have the sim installed.

When i suffered the same issue with the QW787 and fuzzy gauges, the solution for me was to disable the VC mip mapping in the virtual cockpit. You can uncheck this feature in the P3D Display settings in v5.

Try that and see if that makes a difference if you have not tired this.
