August 20, 20232 yr I use little Navmap exclusively including for navigating taxiways. (No Navigraph subsription). Zooming into any of the airports shows all the gate numbers, taxiways' ID and my live position which is really brilliant. However, many of the larger airports have specifically named holding points. These are not shown and it is a big problem when on the Vatsim network and told to hold at a holding point which I canb not identify. Am I missing something?
August 20, 20232 yr LNM takes airport info from simulator/scenery, so there are shown only points that exist in scenery. So it's even possible some points exist under X-Plane but not MSFS2020 (and any other simulator) and vice versa - depends on scenery. If you fly online just simply use real world aviation charts, aerodrome charts in this case like VATSIM/IVAO users do. I write it as the pilot with some thousands hours flying online. BTW- Navigraph's charts also base on the real world aviation charts (they've got agreements with Jeppesen and other providers). August 20, 20232 yr Sorry, but there is no scenery library (MSFS, X-Plane, P3D) which provides named holding points for airports. This is not even a part of the Navigraph data. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
September 6, 20232 yr I have a workaround for this which is to manually add Userpoints to important taxiways and hold shorts that do not have a taxi label on LNM. Here is an example from Jersey (EGJJ) which is a marketplace airport for me and hence the taxiway labels are incomplete and unreliable. I have added the ones that do not show up as Userpoints. https://imgur.com/a/0v1r8FG I do have a request though. Would it be possible to add an Icon to the Userpoint which is a Taxi Label. Also would it be possible to have it show up only at zoom level 0.20. Currently the minimum Zoom level for Userpoints is 1NM.
September 6, 20232 yr Sorry, but the minimum zoom distance is based on full numbers. Maybe in a future update but not soon. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
