October 25, 200718 yr Since installing Acceleration all sound is now gone within FSX. I am certain that my sound works everywhere else, including in FS9, but FSX is silent. I have checked every setting within the sim, but no luck. I have reinstalled both FSX and Acceleration, but still no sound. The sound works in FSX until I install Acceleration. Any help would be much appreciated.-Mike

October 25, 200718 yr This is going to sound like a smart-a$$ reply, but isn't ...Is the plane started?I thought the same as you till I realized the engines were stopped because the fuel tanks were empty post-Acceleration upgrade.- NetNinja
October 25, 200718 yr Just a shot in the dark but did you try toggling the sound by pressing 'Q' (at least twice) ?Cal - CYXXFSX Beta Tester
October 25, 200718 yr I did check the sliders, I tried turning the sound on and off with the 'Q' key, and yes, the engines are running. I would probably be too embarrased to admit if they weren't, but they are. I am going to restore my computer back a few days and try again. I'll let you all know if I find the problem. Thanks for the replies,-Mike
