October 26, 200718 yr Jim, thanks for your response, but it did not make a difference. I am following Phil's advise (thank you) now and uninstall Active sky and Xgraphics. Active sky had not problems to be uninstalled, however, Xgraphics has taken so far 43 minutes to get to 55% on the "please wait while Windows configures XGraphics" screen. I don't know why this is taking so long. I'll let you know once it is uninstalled.
