Reno Air Race Claims Two More Lives Sunday

Just saw this one the news and wasn’t aware that two pilots collided during landing after the completion of a race today. Unfortunately the pilots of both aircraft didn’t survive and the rest of the races were cancelled today, which happens to be the last day of the Reno air Races forever due to having to find a new location. 

Ironically the two pilots killed had just finished 1st and 2nd place in the finals of the T-6 class. Fortunately no injuries on the ground were reported.

This is a horrible thing to happen and it happened on the last year of the Reno air races.
