That's a bit of a simplistic view. Not "everything" is in Simbrief, and it wouldn't be right to force on everybody the whole idea of what a complete GSX workflow should be, especially when it's so closely tied to a specific airplane.

Some users use GSX only for some services, others have their own way to following a partial or different schedule (sometimes driven by flying online, or not), so we can't just decide for everybody and set a specific automation workflow that would please everyone (from beginner to advanced users), taking account airplane-specific differences, so the GSX default workflow is more user-driven than automated.

Ideally, it should be up to airplane developers doing a proper custom integration because it's much easier for them, having complete access to their custom internal data structures that might not be available to external apps, and GSX has lots of features developers can use, even more so the MSFS version, which is designed to be remotely controlled, making something like Fenix2GSX possible.
