Here are some interesting news I want to highlight: There a plan release from LR that may solve two graphics bugs Running out of memory mid-frame Popping out of the window causes a big slow down. One got my attention for the next update was the flight model and system and external-visual networking. I am sure that is long overdue issue for many. https://developer.x-plane.com/2023/09/two-pain-relief-fixes-coming-soon/ X-Plane 12 Handbook - Book 2 - Scenery version 1.2 was release. If you happen to have this book already, then can get the updated version for free just by visiting the Org store and re download. If you don't have it, it is a really nice companion book where he does a nice job, discussing everything you want to know about how the scenery system and how it works, best practices set up, comparison of both default and freeware/payware. Plus all the latest newly scenery links all in one location. https://store.x-plane.org/X-Plane-12-Handbook--Book-2--Scenery_p_1681.html The link below is the full post of "What New in the World of Xplane" at org https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/294781-sunday-1st-october-whats-new-in-the-world-of-x-plane/

Nobody said it was trivial, but snail pace of development has me looking forward to XP13. I don't see anything in their roadmap or lack of a roadmap that has me excited beside maybe rain shafts. Laminars first aim was bugs, now its efficiencies and performance, with other stuff thrown in. When thats done, im sure all the gains will be lost in all the user demands for scenery.
