October 7, 20232 yr Hi. Every time I start msfs i am getting a command window with the following: Sentry initialized Checking for update Update for version 3.3.8 is not available (latest version: 3.3.8, downgrade is disallowed). [9232:1007/094048.410:ERROR:gpu_init.cc(453)] Passthrough is not supported, GL is disabled, ANGLE is I'm not sure what this is all about, how in got onto my system or whether i need to do anything about it, close it or delete anything and the results of a google search were not particularly clear to me. Can anyone explain? I'm not sure if it may have arrived after the last FSLTL update or whether it may be something to do with using a batch file to open fsltl, trackir, littlenavmap and msfs. October 7, 20232 yr From what I could find, Sentry seems to be a JavaScript library that supports various programming languages - https://develop.sentry.dev/. Passthrough seems to be a routine security check used for devices. This library is used for creating browser packages that can interact with a server, network connectivity etc. In the context of MSFS, I'd be looking at payware add-ons you've installed in the past few months or updates to any of them. The fact that you're getting what's basically an authentication error could mean an install was corrupt, a normal code update was interrupted etc. It's weird that you're getting it in a command line window though. I can't think of too many add-ons that would display that to a user - traffic injection programs maybe. Try to post a screenshot next time it happens. I googled it and couldn't really find an answer that I understood. It does seem a bit odd and it doesn't happen every time I start up which makes it a bit difficult to isolate. From what I can tell, it only seems to happen when I run the batch file (which is a very simple command) but I'm not sure whether I have to keep the window open or close it. October 16, 20232 yr Author Not sure what was going on, but changing the loading order of my batch file seems to have solved it. I still can't explain what was happening or why though.
