6 axis Throttle quadrant with hall-effect sensors

Can you guys a recommend a 6 axis throttle quadrant with hall effect sensors?

VirtualFly TQ-6. It’s quite expensive, but extremely rugged metal construction. I’ve had one for 3 years and it has always worked perfectly. Made in Spain. JetLine Systems in Florida is a US distributor.

The only issue is you can't change the throttle lever heads for airliners. I wish VirtualFly offers a TQ for 2-engine/4-engine airliners.

They don't seem to be interested in that option unfortunately. Even their new TQ+ EVO does not have that option, and that one costs over €1200!
That new EVO looks great BTW, with reverse AND beta range for turboprops, and an optional motorised trim wheel module as well, but it will cost you an arm, leg and possibly a spouse.

The Fulcrum TQ would be ideal (hall sensors, 2/4 jet option) but it is unlikely it will be available soon, if at all. I decided not to wait for it and purchased the Thrustmaster TCA Captain's pack. It's throttle quadrant is quite good, even if it is made of plastic. It has detents which you can enable or disable and there are detend mods that make it even better.

I don't think Fulcrum exists anymore as the owner hasn't replied to emails or forum posts for months. I lost money on the throttle. Hopefully another company comes around and produces a quality throttle quadrant with hall-effect sensors that's adaptable to different aircrafts.

True, which is a shame. I think Chris has had a major burnout. I purchased a honeycomb TQ while waiting for the Fulcrum TQ, but the honeycomb started to break down after 2 years. Its still somewhat usable for GA but for jets I needed something else so I purchased the Thrustmaster Airbus TQ.

I am still looking to replace my Honeycomb with, mainly for (turbo)props. The only quality options I am aware of are the Virtual fly TQ's, but without real competition they can ask what they want for those.

I think it is, if you are flying jets. It might also be useful for aircraft like the ATR although it doesn't have condition levers.

I purchased the Thrustmaster Captain's pack since I also like to have a flap- and spoiler control. Although I prefer to fly most aircraft with a yoke the joystick is handy for gliders and helicopters. You can also buy them seperately if you don't need the joystick. You can add an extra unit if you want to control 4 engines. I have not done that yet.

It has hall sensors and although made of plastic feels quite sturdy. You adjust the friction of the levers, although not as heavy as I would like.
You can disable the detents if you don't want them but I have purcased a set of custom detents via Shapeways which nicely match the detents in the HondaJet, which is what I am currently flying. You can also disable the thrust reverse levers for aircraft that don't have those so you can use the extra range of the reverse part of the axis. Although the reverse range is quite small it is nice to have the option to have a reverse axis instead of just full reverse using a button, although that is also an option through virtual buttons on the axes.

It would be nice if they had made the thing out of metal but this way it is still affordable for most.
