FSHUD and Madeira / Porto-Santo by AEROSOFT

Recommended Posts

The "Madeira X Evo" installer only gives options for at most v4, so when we install the scenery in v5 we have to manually add the files to the Scenery Library, and even then there are some inconsistencies with airfield altitudes...

I tried to fly from and into LPMA and LPPS using FSHUD, stable and beta versions, and the airports / runways aren't recognized. Had to uninstall Aerosoft Madeira and use the default scenery instead 😕   Not that bad, but surely not the same thing...

Wonder if any of you knows what the origin of the problem might be and a possible solution?

This may be the epitome of word not allowed(?), naive replies but if you've linked FSHud to navigraph wouldn't they be aligned, assuming the addon scenery is current?

Indeed, and although this thread is aged, and I should have posted that somehow I was able to make it work, I think it was because I had forgotten to run the scenery update process when I installed Aerosoft Madeira Evo X.

Anyway in my latest installs of P3D v5.4 I simply skipped Madeira because P3D with ORBX Global Base + Vector + LC Europe makes LPMA good enough for my sim operations 🙂

But indeed !  Alas, FSHUD is strongly tied to Navigraph, something that I might list as the only drawback in FSHUD because once the Navigraph license drops FSHUD reverts to around 2015 database 😕

@jcomm there is an update (or rather, a package of files) on the A€ro$oft forum itself that corrects some of the problems with the scenery.
