October 9, 20232 yr Does anyone have a sec to see if they can get a response from SALT LAKE Center on 133.6 sitting at the Bryce Canyon airport? CEDAR City Radio 122.2 and the Bryce Canyon UNICOM 122.8 work, but I can't pick up an IFR clearance. Please and thank you. I did not do a takeoff and see if I get them at a higher altitude.
October 9, 20232 yr Commercial Member I got them on 125.575. Why are you using 133.6? Is that published on a chart or something? Center frequencies are not part of the AIRAC data and so are not kept up to date when you do the monthly updates via Navigraph or NavDataPro. You can change the Center controller frequencies in TaxiMnt if you like, but you need to use the frequency that shows up in the Nearby Frequencies window or, as in my case, the one that the copilot tunes to when you first connect sitting at KBCE. October 9, 20232 yr Author Dave, I wish I could paste an image here. I'm looking at Navigraph charts, AIRAC for Oct 5, for KBCE airport info and the one SID shows 133.6; also confirmed with a phone call to the airport manager today it's 133.6. You gave me a hint, though, to look back at P2A frequencies, I shoulda done that. thank you! Edited October 9, 20232 yr by sandiego
