A first-season episode entitled "The Crepes of Wrath" featured an Air France Airbus A340-300 before said plane even entered service within the aforementionned company.Evidence: some footage showed 8 seats abreast in charter configuration (the plane did not feature the 2nd deck of any 747 version). I do not think the 707 had so many seats abreast. But it had 4 engines.I believe that Airbus paid the Simpsons' staff (the amount of it is not known) to display its airplane.

What a coincidence! Just think how many times in the last year or so Airbus executives (past and present) said, "D'OH!!" :-lol

I must assume it is about the A380 program woes.
