We are a bit high... no issue though as the TBM is able to slow to approach speed and keep descending

On this approach we won't need them, but we have localizer performance minimums.  The +V is a Garmin added feature which produces a vertical glide path.  However, the GP is advisory only, and one must comply with the charted altitudes.
