Traffic display delay

Recommended Posts

Hello there.

I'm currently getting a total of about 45 seconds of delay from what I see on fr24 to what is displayed in the sim from RealTraffic data.

Is there a way to force the buffer currently set at 30 seconds to 5 or 10?

If not is there another way to display RealTraffic in MSFS with less of a delay?

Regards

Dino

Even flightradar24 has a 20 to 30 second delay... I think it is reasonable, since data has to be collected and parsed. Same with youtube 'live' there is up to a minute delay, if you watch anything online 'live' it is never live.... It would be nice, it is just a technical limitation....

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

No there is not. For some airports with superb ads-b coverage 15 seconds would be a possibility, but at other airports it would lead to more aircraft temporary disappearing.

That's why 30 seconds is a nice compromise, based on 8 years of experience with PSXTraffic.
