December 4, 20232 yr If you use addon linker, you don't need to know this, but if you don't, her is a useful little program to create symbolic links thus creating more space on the drive you have msfs on: https://github.com/arnobpl/SymlinkCreator You can use it to move addon files off of your drive onto another drive and still have them show up in your community folder without taking up any space or indeed move your entire community folder. Points to note: 1. In Symlinc Creator you have to create the destination link before you create the files or folders you want to put in it. 2. I usually get the warning that I am not allowed to move the files or folders to another drive or place, so you will need to zip them, move them and unzip them first. I hope some of you will find this as helpful as I did in enabling me to free a lot of space on my E drive (NVMe) and move some files on to another NVMe drive. If you are running msfs from an SSD or NVMe drive, clearly you might not want to put them on a slower drive. This might be a candidate to go into 'Tips and Tricks' though I didn't put it there as I am interested to hear any comments about this and if anyone found it useful or interesting. December 4, 20232 yr I use Link Shell Extension for this. It puts an option in your right click menu "Pick Link Source" and "Drop as Symbolic Link". Nice and simple. https://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/linkshellextension.html
