V6 Flying in south America...

What you're looking at is the simulator weather and not ActiveSky. I copied your screenshot from the Hifi forums.

First make sure that ActiveSky weather files are at default, i.e. leave the files empty. Just to be sure.

Then enable AS weather in options.

And in menu "Weather" -> "Airport weather source" select "ActiveSky" if you'd like to see weather icons on the map.

I usually keep NOAA also enabled to have a comparison to the official source.
