P3D minimizes on start

When I start P3Dv5, the progress bar shows the scenery loading, then it minimizes and drops to the system tray. That's it.

I can't figure out a way to resume loading and start to to fly.  Any suggestions?

@kevinc5, right-click the P3D shortcut and choose Properties. Look at the Run option. It should be Normal window. I suspect you might have it set to Minimised.

Another thing that will fix it is deleting the Prepar3d.cfg file but then you will have to redo all your settings, etc. I try to avoid that at all cost but sometimes it is necesseary (keep a back-up of the cfg file for these cases) 🙂
