  1. I would highly recommend that you get either the Aerosoft airbus or the FSLabs one (this one I can highly recommend) if you want an airbus in P3D. As some people have already mentioned, there are no good freeware airbus A321 available and to be honest I see no reason why should start with freeware (unless of course its a budget issue). The airbus aircraft are quite easy to fly generally even though the learning curve at first can seem a bit steep. 🙂
  2. Just had a 2h support/bug fixing session with TFDI and they fixed the issue. They will also push out a patch for it at some point (possibly quite soon) so that everyone else with the same issue can fly it! Going to be great to finally fly this bird.🙂
  3. I got the basic installer and then I had to upgrade via the PMDG OP center! Please note though that I had to also do the same with the PMDG products I bought directly from PMDG. 🙂
  4. I would like to point out that PMDG still sells some of their products through Aerosoft (e.g. the 747-8). I bought both the 777-300ER and the 747-8 to complete my collection. I guess I will miss out on the 737-600/700 but at least iFly also sells that. Please note that this is no attempt to market products on Aerosoft's behalf (just thought some of you would appreciate it). 🙂
  5. I cant even get it to launch...instant CTD. Hopefully I will get it resolved but yeah seems like quite a few people have had this/similar issues on P3Dv5. Seems like there is also quite a few bugs and other things that need to be sorted specifically for the P3D version.
  6. I must say I was quite surprised at the responses from the PMDG staff. Instead of just answering your legitimate questions they were very rude... I do hope however that they decide to release the P3D lineup again as I really want the 737-600/700 (I guess the iFly one is a valid option as well however but lets see).
  7. Yeah that make sense and probably explains why the product is inactive! Thanks for the responses! 😄
  8. Hi all, Does anyone have any information on this A380 for P3D? I found it on Simmarket (inactive product) and I had never heard of it before so thought I would check if anyone has any information. Looks quite good if it is an upcoming product (considering the otherwise dead market for P3D developers) 🙂 https://secure.simmarket.com/skyforge-simulations-skyforge-airbus-a380-p3dv4-6.phtml Thanks in advance!
  9. Yeah really looking forward to fly this one in P3DV5! I do hope they did the P3D version justice though and did not put all their effort on the MSFS version. Haha a part of me is a bit worried when I looked through the github for their bugs (and 95% seem to be MSFS reported bugs). I guess this could in a worst case scenario mean that they might have missed some bugs for the P3D version but lets hope that isn't the case. 🙂
  10. Yeah I 100% agree with that! Matthias makes some awesome photoreal + autogen packages and I can highly recommend them! 🙂
  11. I have been thinking of getting the Megascenery photoreal products for a while and to combine them with the living airports autogen for specific states. Apart from the coloration issue, how highly would you rate them (i.e. is it worth considering for P3Dv5 or should I get the photoreal elsewhere)?
  12. Yeah I think that is a fair point! Furthermore, I guess the lack of available alternatives on the market makes it possible to get away with such an approach. However, I do think it is possible to email the developer in this case (he answered me really quickly) so that could be an option to request some more information or pictures! 🙂
  13. I would assume really good photoreal scenery would be in quite high-demand even with the smaller user base (plus I guess you could charge a premium as well)! I mean with good photoreal scenery P3D actually looks really good! 🙂
  14. Yeah I think it is only Alabama, Nebraska and Arizona as of now that they offer photoreal + autogen for. I got their Arizona photoreal and was pleasantly surprised! Meshes quite well with Orbx True Earth South California!
  15. It is pretty decent I would say! Based on the paid photoreal I own, I would rate it something like this: TrueEarth > Living Airports > FCscenery. The included autogen is however better in FCscenery than for Living airports (unfortunately e.g. Finland doesn't have full coverage yet in this regard but its coming!)
