I have a minor problem but one I can't seem to crack. 

When importing a flightplan to simbrief using the TBM850, I get a blank aircraft type and have to manually select it from the drop down menu in Simbrief. The flight plan imports ok.

Other planes auto populate with the correct aircraft type. 

When looking at the tbm 850.Inmperf file, it shows the Aircraft type as TBM8 (the correct ICAO code). 

 

How can I get simbrief to auto populate with the TBM850?

The aircraft type is transferred to SimBrief when uploading a flight plan from LNM.

I have no idea what SimBrief expects but you can change the aircraft type in the performance file you're using in LNM to match the aircraft type to whatever SimBrief expects.

I have verified the aircraft type is correct in the performance file (TBM8). 

Strange that Simbrief does not see it. 

When clicking the "Export flightplan to Simbrief...", is there a way to look at this file being sent to Simbrief? 

Since Simbrief always shows no aircraft for the TBM850, this would help me troubleshoot this issue.

You can click "Copy web-address to clipboard". The URL contains the type:

You should see "...?type=TBM8&..." in the URL.

I dont see that popup, might have disabled it.

 

Ok. Menu "Tools" -> "Reset all messages" will bring it back (and a few others too).

I did look at the simbrief page and the address shows the following

Looks like the address is correct going to Simbrief, might be a simbrief issue. 

Might send Simbrief a message and see what they say. 

SimBrief offers me only a TBM9. I see no TBM8 in the manual selection.

Just created a TBM8 airframe and see it in the aircraft type selection in SimBrief but I still have to select it manually. Does not load with your URLs.

My A321 example does load fine. Seems to be a SimBrief quirk. Maybe affecting all private types made in the airframe editor.

Sorry, nothing I can do there. Maybe ask in the SimBrief forum.
