December 11, 20232 yr Hello! How to modify the CT206H Panel.cfg file to obtain a definitive position? Thanks
December 11, 20232 yr Hi Roland, The setting I think you're looking for is the eyepoint setting in the [Views] section of the aircraft.cfg file. Make sure you backup any original files before changing. The default setting looks like this: [Views] eyepoint= -9.8, -0.9, 1.53 The first number is the longitudinal location relative to the datum reference point - will move eyepoint position forwards or backwards The second number is the lateral location relative to the datum reference point - will move the eyepoint position left or right The third number is the vertical location relative to the datum reference point - will move the the eyepoint position up or down Here are the settings is used for the CT206H if you want to give them a try. [Views] eyepoint= -9.6, -0.9, 1.58 I hope this helps. Regards John C. Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.
December 12, 20232 yr Author Thanks John for the feedback In principle the pilot installed in the cockpit must see the tarmac. Usually it is necessary to raise the pilot's seat by modifying, in the panel.cfg file, the option [VIEWS] Here in aircraft.cfg of the CT206H I have option: [Views] eyepoint= - 9.6, -0.9, 1.60 and it's OK for me Merry Christmas Roland
