g1000 auto tune?

Will the g1000 auto tune frequencies into the radios? With the g500 I could select any of the airport frequencies and it would would auto tune radios to that frequency but it doesn't seem to work the same with the g1000. Am I missing something?

The sim version of the manual is here:../FSWeb/LearningCenter/Navigation/UsingTheG1000.htmIIRC, you would first go to one of the pages that shows the frequency you want (such as a Nearest APT, VOR, etc., then press the center knob to enable the cursor.Use the large knob to highlight the frequency then press the Enter button.

Yeah that's how I do it with the g500 and it works fine, but when I do the same with the g1000 is doesn't work. Does that work on your g1000, if so I must have corrupted my g1000 somehow.
