Try a re-install of  vc_redist.x64.exe  (because it looks that the VCRUNTIME140.dll is causing problems)

Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn

Reinstall + reboot didn't help. Problem still occurs when SimConnect stalls. Once PSXT.exe re-establishes a connection with SimConnect, PSXT terminates ungracefully

Had a SimConnect stall during flight when MSFS temporarily froze. Used 5.1.1 and saw a new side effect. PSXT didn't crash! But, it also failed to re-establish connection for some reason (yellow Sim indicator, no RT indicator)...

Therefore, an improvement, but still a weird edge case. Also, sorry if I'm the only one who's seeing this... I don't know what's causing it.

Seeing the same symptoms (yellow Sim indicator when SimConnect is lost; never re-established) in 5.1.2. However, the crashes no longer happen, and since switching from PSXTraffic to PSXT.exe, I have not had the sim lock up on me, which is a sign of success. Closing and re-opening PSXT isn't the end of the world during flight in all honesty.

I've also read reports on an increase in SimConnect issues from other providers that rely on it, so I don't think it's just just PSXT having issues with it. Thank you for the additional effort in error handling - whatever fix you applied starting with 5.1.1 has reduced the crashes of PSXT, and transitively I assume, reduced the risk of the sim crashing from unhandled PSXT crashes based on past observation.

Have had multiple successful cross-the-pond flights so far! Thank you again!

Also seeing the same behaviour as AeroMaster. Get the sim connection in the yellow but never the airport info. Have to close and reopen PSXT to load in traffic

That will be fixed in 5.2.0, I hope.

Thank you for reporting problems! That helps a lot ironing out small bugs.

Yesterday I flew Bangkok-Mumbay, no problems, now I'm on my way to Doha. I'm on a world tour you know, with my PMDG B738 in DHL cargo livery.

Flown sofar: EHAM-BIKF-KBOS-KMSP-KSEA-PANC-PACD-RJCC-VHHH-VTBS-VABB ...   to be done OTHH-LTFM-EHAM  and I will be in time home for Christmas! 😉

Thank you Kiek. Your excellent software has brought so much life to our sim. Enjoy the rest of the RTW flight
