December 15, 20232 yr I've got the same processor as you and experienced exactly this on a flight over Germany to Greece the other day at high altitude. Performance was so bad on the way back that I just quit the sim. I've got a PC, and hadn't optimised anything at that point. The two changes I made were to disable virtualisation and also to disable hyperthreading (SMT? in AMD parlance) in the BIOS. I've not flown the same route again yet, and have always tried to avoid Germany in general because I found performance to be pretty terrible there on my old system), but every other flight since in different regions has been great, with no temperature spikes anymore and no stuttering either. I hope that's useful for you in some way!

It's 100% an issue with MSFS as no other titles have anything like this, Edited December 16, 20232 yr by aceridgey Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK
