December 18, 20232 yr [In MSFS, one thing I always wish to see is how MSFS Default Scenery, without any add-on...compares to that for localities and regions I am quite used to from my past SIMs e.g., I'd sufficiently explored PAVD (Valdez) region before. So, here, I take an aerial tour of the same region in MSFS...] The beautiful coastal Port City of Valdez, AK, is located in Southcentral Alaska on the north shore of a deepwater fjord in Prince William Sound (site of the infamous Exxon Valdez oil spill). The city is surrounded by the majestic and rugged Chugach Mountains (see below), which are heavily glaciated (you will spot a few glaciers in my images below).
