December 23, 20232 yr Really frustrated about this, want to get to fly the Fenix and frustrated. I will get right to the problem. My CH Yoke works with all my planes including the PMDG 737 series and Fly the Maddog When the Fenix is in the air my CH Yoke works fine, the specific issue is when I am on the ground I can't turn left or right or even adjusting the throttle Any suggestions would greatly appreciate. I want to get this beautiful plane flying!!! By the way I put this issue in controllers but got no response Edited December 23, 20232 yr by Sunshine13 ;last sentence 10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home
December 23, 20232 yr I'm confused as to how it couldn't work. I used the TCA Boeing Yoke and that throttle setup for a while in the Fenix, no issue. Do you have rudder pedals? How do you steer the other aircraft on the ground? I steer all my aircraft with the rudder pedals. Some people set up a tiller for larger aircraft, but I've never bothered just to taxi around. Have you tried calibrating the throttle in the Fenix CDU? Keep in mind, the throttle for the Airbus is meant to be used in notches, thus it's harder to define those detents with a continuous axis. I was able to get it to work with the Thrustmaster TCA Boeing setup, but it would fall out of a detent sometimes. The shorter the travel the throttle axis, the harder it'll be to make those detents work. The Thrustmaster Airbus pack is much better for detents but the manual axis range is so narrow that it's pretty hard to control thrust outside of a detent. If you could ever afford better hardware you'd be on a whole new level. I ditched the CH Yoke a couple years ago and it's literally night and day in terms of aircraft control. The CH was so awful with sensitivity and banking was next to impossible without diving or climbing all over the place. The Boeing Yoke with throttle from Thrustmaster is expensive, but you should really consider it if you're gonna spend money on this sim. The Airbus joystick is good too, but the throttle is still hard to use. It's beneficial because you have actual detents and reverse thrust works, along with some other switches, but it's really only an Airbus or stick driven controller. Takes a lot of getting used to if you like yokes. December 23, 20232 yr Author when I mentioned taxi I was taking about from the terminal gate to the runway that u r taking off from. As far as using pedals< I don't have, so of course I use my CH Yoke instead of going left or right with my PMDG 737's, or Fly the Maddog, and CH Yoke works fine for me, and that's many years. Right now adn for next year or so don't have the funds for buying another Yoke or whatever to upgrade. 10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home

Could be autorudder vs Fenix320 issue Or did you disconnect the Tiller from the rudder? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOjwlFzGttE
December 31, 20232 yr Author checked out the vid, its outdated with the Tiller, took it out of the settings when you startup the Fenix. supposedly conflicts some how with the Fenix. So now, how do I turn this plane left or right while taxing {from terminal to runway, or when landing, from runway to terminal) I have no pedals, but this yoke works fine with all my other planes, including the Pmdg 737's, and Fly the Maddog. So how in the world can I make my CH yoke work???? turning left and right. 10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home
