Pixelated clouds

Featured Replies

Hello, Folks!  This topic has been discussed already. Maybe I did not pay much attention to it but now I want to fix the issue but don;t know how.

There are some types of clouds which look perfect. But there are some types of storm clouds which all look pixelated. Also, there are some types of clouds which look good but only the edges are pixelated.

Is there any work around to eliminate or at least reduce that pixelisation?  In my setting cfg the film grain set to 0.

Thanks in advance!

TAA looks better for clouds than DLSS.

If you change sharpen from 1 to 0 in the user cfg, that makes the clouds look really fluffy and less pixelated.

Bothe settings come with their pros and cons though.

I also have clouds set to ultra but that affects performance a little

I use TAA. But will try to set sharpen to 0. Thank for the hint!
