Converter for Ortho4XP tiles to XP12's native seasons

Featured Replies

I don't know if anyone here has seen this utility but has been out since Oct 9th 2023.

What this does is add the missing navitive seasonal and soundscapes to your existing Orthos tiles, below is this the description.

"o4xp_2_xp12 is a converter that includes XP12's native seasons and soundscape into your existing ortho tiles. It does this by extracting the relevant raster data from the global scenery and merges them into the ortho .dsf (by Ortho4XP, OrbxTE  or autoortho).

User @krisbee has created a nice video with before/after comparison and the conversion process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PORIL2hQ0nw"

I've tried it a while ago and it worked for me. The functionality should definitely be rolled into Ortho4XP.

With seasonal support, orthos are almost worthwile in XP12 now.
