January 31, 20242 yr I currently run Overhead Client (for the P3DV4.5 PMDG B737 and PMDG B777) on a networked second desktop PC. I would like to change this to displaying the overhead panel on my flightsim desktop PC's second monitor instead. I could run Overhead Client on my flightsim PC (which already runs AviaServer of course) and have already tried this successfully. Problem is that Overhead Client doesn't save the window size & position so I would need to resize the window each time as I'm currently having to do, which is a bit of a PITA. Is it possible to have the overhead panels in a browser window, of which I could save the size in a shortcut ? I couldn't find the port numbers for the PMDG overhead panels in the manual, so couldn't even give it a try 🙄. Edited January 31, 20242 yr by EmileB Cheers, Emile Bax.
February 6, 20242 yr Commercial Member Hi Emile, you can indeed run aviaOverhead in the browser. Have a look at the manual on how to connect. Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
February 8, 20242 yr Author Checked the manual again but no luck connecting via the browser of the networked PC using http://192.168.1.59 (my flightsim rig has a fixed IP address) or even http://192.168.1.59:32110. Maybe port 32110 is blocked on the networked PC. I can work around it, but thanks anyway. Edited February 8, 20242 yr by EmileB Cheers, Emile Bax.
February 28, 20242 yr Commercial Member I don't know why you are trying to connect to port 32110. Let me quote the manual: Quote The URL for the Remote Overhead is: 737: http://<your IP>:32109/ovhd/737/737.html 747: http://<your IP>:32109/ovhd/747/747.html 777 Passenger: http://<your IP>:32109/ovhd/777/777_pax.html 777 Freighter: http://<your IP>:32109/ovhd/777/777_freighter.html Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
