Axis and Ohs becomes unusabluy slow whene editing commands

Featured Replies

Hello there, I have been a happy user of the program for quite a while now, but now when I open a command whether it is a button, or an axis it seems to freeze, my mouse moves horribly slow and the program is unusable. It still works just fine on the commands I have already set up, but I can no longer edit. Please help...

Thank you problem resolved!

Long explanation: this often happens when AAO detects some device (hardware or software device) as a game controller that actually isn't one. Some of those devices interfere massively when you try to assign new things (=when all input devices are active). In normal operations only those devices are active that you actually made assignemts for, so the problem is muted.

Blacklisting them is the only option (blacklist all mice and keyboards too, and the Saitek Panels, and the StreamDeck, if you have those. AAO talks to them through other means)

It took me two years to figure out the importance of the Blacklist. What a difference it makes in AAO responsiveness!
