If anyone wants to help me and uses the TDS GTNxi send me a PM here or at flightsim.to. I've just been flying with that mod. It works really well, but only using the integrated (VFR) navigation in the G3X. The plane can't use the PMS / TDS GTN to navigate. I tried both. 😄 Still, the new G3X looks really good in the RV-14. 😎 Edited February 15, 20242 yr by JYW Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK
September 8, 2025Sep 8 This is still a bit of a mess. Having not tuned in to this issue for some time, I was becoming very confused about which version of G3X is available in which aircraft. Looking closely at the Sting now I can see the differences but it is not obvious unless you really know the detail, I now know how to identify the MSobo version by disengaging the AP using a mapped button; in the WT e.g. in the Sting, the AP symbol in the AFCS strip flashes yellow 5 times and then disappears which is correct. However in the Asobo version, disengaging with a mapped button causes the AP sysmbol to change to RED and remains flashing until the AP button on the AP controller in the aircraft is operated with the mouse !
