TDCF : an interesting landing

Featured Replies

Just landed the  DC-6 in Canefields TDCF (Dominica hey!). Coming from the North, flying along the lovely coast then a 180 to  catch RW 01, said runway being then hidden by a hill. Sliding down the hill , so to speak, to a rather short runway. No procedure and the DC-6 is everything but nimble.

I wonder whether you guys could land a business jet there, certainly not a 737 (taunting 😋)

Nice freeware airport by the way.

🤔🤔 I have put a G550 on a 4700FT runway. That one is 3100. If my landing weight gives me a landing ground roll of 2000 and I add 1000 to it 3000, I could pull it off🤣😝

I don't know about the other one, but I have a number of Lexus2020's airports for the Caribbean and his work is very high quality.  I've not downloaded this one yet, but having read Dom's post, I will try both of them later.
