Scotland Tigers-4-Edinburgh to Scone

Recommended Posts

For Wed. Feb 28:

Scotland Tigers-4: UK Edinburgh (EGPH) to Scone (EGPT)

spacer.pngEdinburgh Airport (EGPH):

Today we bring out the old bi-planes once again to continue this low and slow Scotland Tigers-Part 4 of our journey exploring the country of Scotland.

We start this part four in the second largest city in Scotland and the nation’s capital: the city of Edinburgh where we left off in the last trip. Today we’ll depart Edinburgh and cover the northwest side of the city as well as the harbour and port areas and weave to the northeast. There are a few poi/landmarks along the way in this historic area, to say the least. The entire trip is scenic and explores various waterways, ports, cities and towns as we travel.  Refer to the full lnmpln for all the locations during this trip.

This part 4 of the Scotland Tigers is 177 nm departing Edinburgh EGPH with seven intermediate stops at: Cumbernauld EGPG, Kinross EGZZ, Fife EGPJ, Crail EG0A, Leuchars AB EGQL, Arbroath EG11 and Dundee EGPN with our destination being in the medieval town of Scone EGQI which is in suburbs of the cities of Perth and Kinross.

This is another “low and slow expedition” using our favourite bi-plan! We won’t have too much time for doddling if we want to reach our destination. Time permitting; we’ll make our destination but no worries as there will definitely be a part five of the Scotland Tigers so that we can continue this trek exploring the country of Scotland.

Time and Weather
Prefer to fly real weather if possible but if not, the few clouds Jeff 2 or Josh preset, or the few or high clouds stock preset might make a nice choice.  For takeoff: set the simulator time to @1400 local.  Hope you enjoy this scenic flight in historic Scotland.
