March 26, 20242 yr This is the TINIEST bugette ever but as title states. If you create new FP then SAVE AS LNM flt plan the title bar still shows FP with no name. If you open an existing flight plan and SAVE AS new plan AFTER saving the old plan name still shows in title bar. This produced some minor confusion when I edited a major plan and saved it as TEMP to experiment then was reluctant to SAVE changes to it as the original plan name still showed in title. All saving itself is working fine. If after SAVE AS you open the new file THEN its correct name will be displayed top of LNM window. Russell Gough SE London
March 26, 20242 yr Thanks for the report. 👍 And exactly because of the confusion it is a bug and should not happen.🙃 Fixed for the next 3.0.6 update. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
August 10, 20241 yr Author I'm putting this note here as it's tiny but seems related. v3.09 Create flight plan. Save Make changes Select SAVE but it displays SAVE AS dialog with suggested new plan title. You then need to find the current plan in dialog box and select it or else you will have multiple new plans saved instead of fast overwrite of current one. If you open an existing plan and save without making changes it works fine. Make one change and it shows SAVE AS dialog. It isn't always the same. If I open a plan then save as new one then make change THEN save it works..sometimes. It is easy to get the above bug to show itself though. I suppose "make changes" involves changing departure or destination. Then you probably run into this: This will trigger "save as" on every change that might affect the filename. "Save as" will pop up if you change the cruise altitude and it is a part of the filename, for example. A change in the airport name (switching simulators) might also trigger it. Simply deselect this option to avoid this behavior. BTW: This post is a bit confusing since it has nothing to do with the OP issue. Actually for my test changes I was selecting any waypoint in plan and using CTRL- up or down to re-order. Now I understand that config option it makes sense it only came up as SAVE AS when that random waypoint happened to be the last or first! My plan was ALL small airfields and the route a round trip so it could be done in different ways. Russell Gough SE London
