April 1, 20242 yr Hi pilots, today was a good day for a nice VOR flight over the George Washington National Forest. In the mountains the weather conditions worsened quickly, it got a lot colder with some turbulence, but nothing to worry about in the cozy well-heated IFR Black Square Bonanza. The flight was good - until I found out after the flight planning the VOR I had selected for route (shown here in little Navmap, RNL-VOR) does not exist in the sim! After the VOR could still not be received in under 20nm distance I switched to a Garmin with screen, and this VOR is also not even listed in the Garmin 530: Is it possible to synchronize what is shown in little Navmap with the existing active functional Navaids in the sim? To get only the VOR shown in little Navmap that actually really exist in the simulator? This is the third time now my planned flights turned out useless afterwards because several of the VOR stations cannot be received with my planes. Thank you very much for tips :)
April 1, 20242 yr You use MSFS scenery with the included but outdated cycle 1801 navigation database. RNL is gone a long time ago. I can only find it in FSX but not in MSFS and not in the latest cycle 2403. Either update LNM and MSFS using a Navigraph subscription or select in LNM menu "Scenery Library" -> "Navigraph" -> "Select Automatically" to get the best scenery library settings. Either option will get LNM perfectly in sync with the simulator. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
April 2, 20242 yr Author Thank you very much for the info 🙂 Worked perfectly, RNL disappeared right in front of my eyes. Now everything should be ready for the glorious Black Square Piston Duke release. (Or Turbine Duke? No, both is the only way to go!) Edited April 2, 20242 yr by JetCat
