How to cancel a touch and go request

After I have requested and did a touch and go how to I tell controller I am leaving the area going to a different airport.

Request a pattern departure.  Something like "CallSign request pattern departure to the East".

At this point you'll be flying VFR and Tower will tell you "...frequency change approved.." as you leave Tower's airspace, and you can go wherever you like and change frequencies to whatever controller you like.

If you want VFR Flight Following, contact Departure or center controller and request "<CallSign> request VFR Flight Following to XXXX at YYYY Feet" where XXXX is the Destination Airport code and YYYY is the planned VFR altitude.
