May 2, 20242 yr Hi Alex and thanks for all your work on Little Navmap! I have a bunch of payware addon airports in Denmark. I bought them on a sale in the MS store, so unfortunately they are not picked up when I update the database. As an example EKNB has a unicom frequency in the sim of 119.400 (IIRC), but in Little Navmap it says that it has no radio frequencies. Is there a way I can add this manually to the database or some work-around?
May 2, 20242 yr The stock airport EKNB has no frequency. Did you reload the LNM scenery library after adding the airports? Are these add-ons encrypted? Do you get a warning message mentioning the airport files after loading the scenery library? See here about this DRM: https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap-faq.html#no-airport-msfs What does the section "Data Source" in the tabs "Airport" -> "Overview" in the LNM information window say (simply copy and paste the section into the forum here, screenshot not needed)? May 4, 20242 yr Author Hi. thanks for the quick reply. When I load up at EKNB I can tune to a traffic frequency. Yes, I reloaded the library after buying the airport at the MS store. They are probably encrypted. For EKNB there is a file called: mwbeqhqy.fsarchive The data source section says: Generic Airports C:\Users\mail\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\fs-base-genericairports\scenery\0601\APX50120.bgl
May 4, 20242 yr Thanks for the information. The ".fsarchive" file is a clear indicator for an encrypted airport and you'll see the stock airport from APX50120.bgl in LNM. Sorry, nothing I can do about this so far. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
May 4, 20242 yr Author Yeah, I thought so... another reason to buy straight from devs 😉 I got tempted at the recent sale. Can I add a frequency myself to the database for EKNB?
May 4, 20242 yr Just now, SuperKaro2014 said: Yeah, I thought so... another reason to buy straight from devs That's what I recommend. 1 minute ago, SuperKaro2014 said: Can I add a frequency myself to the database for EKNB? Doable but not so easy. You can add it to the LNM database if you know relational databases and SQL. But this is a script that has to run after loading the scenery library. You can also create an airport add-on (BGL and JSON files) using the MSFS development tools which contains only the frequencies and adds the missing ones on top of the add-on. Also a bigger task. May 4, 20242 yr Author Thanks for the explanation… that sounds a bit too complex for me. I’ll just enjoy the moments of silence at those airports 😁
