Changing MASTER ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I couldn't find the option to change aircraft master... in manual it says templates -> manage but there is no manage...

I did "apply other config to the aircraft" but I have to do it for each same type aircraft.

Second issue is how to un-clone cloned aircraft....

Thanks.

Depends on how the aircraft is organized in MSFS. There are some that depend on the same .cfg file - those can be cloned. There are others where each livery has its own config file in MSFS - those cannot be cloned. AAO has no way of knowing that they belong together.

True, that is a typo. It is "Edit configs".

You can't. The first aircraft that you load (of those that AAO does recognize as belonging together) is the master.

The only way that I can see is this:
In AAO Offline Mode: load the current master -> save the config as a template -> delete all configs for this aircraft (=for all liveries and the master) -> load the livery that you want to be the master -> apply the template.

If you want to save a separate configuration for the plane, deactivate the checkbox in the red bar. AAO will then reload the config as a separate entity.
