Idaho Bush Strips - One More Time

This tour features a return to a favorite bush flying region – The River of No Return Wilderness – in the rugged mountains of central Idaho.  We change things up a bit from previous flights by starting from Lower Loon and heading up the Middle Fork of the Salmon before turning west at the mouth of Big Creek.  We will attempt landings at 16 remote airstrips and fly past several fire tower sites (visible if you have the optional payware addon) before reaching our ultimate destination - McCall Municipal (KMYL).

Aircraft

The route is 149nm.  A capable STOL aircraft will be required to land at the many challenging short airstrips.  I plan to fly the Monster NXCub in the Sunset-Oasis  livery with the new G3x (select the SU15 beta version).  I have included a Summer Clouds weather theme with the flightplan.

Something to tempt those with a taste for detailed scenery. Note that the two Orbx Idaho Bush Strip Packs, The Deadly Three and The Not So Deadly 3, have just now gone on sale. Also on sale are 85U Soldier Bar Airstrip and KMYL McCall Municipal. The recently-released Idaho Fire Lookouts and 3U2 Johnson Creek Airport remain at normal prices.

I recommend that we use the 1.01 (SU-15 Beta) as is features the updated G3x.  The download also has an assortment of paints.

So Got-friends V1.0.1. beta.... (Then will use a stock livery)...\

... and v1.0.1 is a very nice improvement ..
