Red fuel report!

Featured Replies

W10; P3Dv5+; LNM v3.08:

After creating the FP I am receiving a 'Red' error message:

Fuel Report: Found problems in FP, click here for details.

Problems on tab 'Fuel Report'. Invalid values for aircraft type.

The details relate to a C172 that I once attempted to create a profile for but have never used!

I cannot see how to remove this red warning without uninstalling LNM and starting all over again😞.

I (now) only use large jets in P3D and the earlier C172 episode is now irrelevant.

Is there a 'simple' method to remove/not see the red warning?

Still a super piece of software ~~~ should have mentioned before how useful the green banana is for accurately hitting crossing points 😎

Look forward to your advice,

Ken H.

Hi Ken,

reinstalling LNM will absolutely not help. You can disable only the aircraft type mismatch warning in menu "Aircraft".

The error message indicates that the aircraft performance profile has a wrong ICAO aircraft designator (https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/AIRCRAFTPERFEDIT.html#aircraft-type).

Get the right aircraft performance file for your aircraft here: https://www.littlenavmap.org/downloads/Aircraft Performance/
You can also use one that was created using other simulators and refine it by merging the actual performance parameters from your flights.

Or create your own profile doing a few flights: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/TUTORIALPERF.html
Simply let LNM collect all parameters while you do your flight and then let LNM create the profile after flying.

LNM needs a halfway valid performance profile to calculate TOD and TOC.

You can also disable all flight plan related messages in "Tools" -> "Flight plan table display options" but this is really not recommended.

Thanks, Alex ~~~ there's a lot in there to chew over!

I had never attempted to build fuel use etc as my VA gives me all details required such as fuel, reserves etc, etc. It would, though, perhaps explain why the TOC and TOD are usually just a bit 'out'!!!
