December 18, 200718 yr I just joined a virtual airline and downloaded all of their planes, but... all the panels are 2-D. There is no virtual 'pit. I can handle the 2-D view without much complaining, but I really, really want a 3-D view. So, here is my plan: simply take another aircraft's 3-D view and replace the downloaded aircraft's panel with that one. Just now I tried to give a downloaded regional jet the 'pit of a 737. I simply made back ups and replaced the "Panel" folder, but to no avail. Is it possible to replace panels this way?
December 18, 200718 yr Author In FSX fully compatible aircraft - the VC is part of a a separate interior model i.e. the default B737-800:B737_800.mdlB737_800_interior.mdlSome folks have tries to substitute one interior model on different aircraft. They have had some success. But when trying to put FSX interior models into aircraft with FS9 VC built into the models - terrible results. It's a subject asking for more testing/ experimentation - but is going to require a high degree of knowledge and experience with modeling and VC panels.
