July 28, 20241 yr Hello Dave, I have successfully completed many flights with Pilot2ATC. It's really fun 🙂 But there is one thing I often notice. I use X-Plane 12 and Traffic Global. My flight planning is done. The flight plan has been submitted and confirmed in Pilot2ATC. The process has progressed to pushback. The necessary approvals from Pilot2ATC have also all been given. All good so far. Now the runway for take-off is changing in Traffic Global (this happens frequently, in reality the runway also changes from time to time). Can I change the runway for departure at this point without having to reconfirm the flight plan? Simply inform Pilot2ATC that the runway has changed? Andreas
July 29, 20241 yr Commercial Member Yes. Just request the new departure runway from ground control like "...<CallSign> request departure runway xx".  If you don't have a SID, you won't even need to change the flight plan. However, if you have a SID, you'll need to change the flight plan, refile and go to clearance to get clearance for the new plan. But no need to start at the Gate or go through the pushback etc again.  Then ask Ground for taxi and they should take you to the new runway.
